Jigsaw Treasure Hunter is a jigsaw free online picture puzzle game that takes you on amazing adventures in search of treasure. The goal of the game is to fulfill your inner wanderlust by becoming a true puzzle adventurer who travels to amazing destinations around the world and beyond.
When you first start Jigsaw Treasure Hunter, you will be in Adventure Mode. Your first adventure will be presented to you. You will see one icon at a location on a map of the world. Mouse over this icon to see a preview of your first puzzle. Click on the icon to play that puzzle. As you complete more puzzles and more adventures you will see more icons on the map. Each icon represents one location with one puzzle.
In order to move on to your next destination and get closer to finding treasure, you must complete your current destination's puzzle game. A treasure meter reveals that every puzzle you complete will take you closer to finding the treasures. Once you acquire a treasure, you must complete the puzzle associated with it. Club Pogo players will be rewarded with a beautiful treasure icon.
Putting together your Jigsaw Treasure Hunter puzzles is nothing short of exciting. Put two pieces together and continue until your puzzle is built and you see the colorful picture of your current destination. When all the pieces of the puzzle are together, you'll earn some tokens for completing the job plus a bonus if you complete the puzzle quickly.
The numbers of Jigsaw Treasure Hunter puzzles you need to complete depends on the adventure difficulty level. In general the number of puzzles is equal to the adventure number. However, as you progress on to later adventures, the difficulty starts to factor in and the number of puzzles you complete for each adventure will change. For all difficulty levels there will always be one treasure puzzle to reward you after all of your efforts on your adventure puzzles. After completing the treasure puzzle and getting a sizable token reward, you will move on to your next adventure.
Along your adventures, you will complete many puzzles. Every time you finish one of your adventure puzzles or a treasure puzzle, they will be saved and made available in Unlocked Puzzles Mode. You can play these picture puzzle games for token and time bonuses. On the screen you will see all of the different categories listed. These categories refer to the types of places you will visit along your treasure hunting adventures. When you mouse over the category buttons, the name of that category will appear. When you click them, your unlocked puzzles associated with that button will appear above the categories as thumbnails. Click the thumbnail image to play that puzzle game.
Playing one of your unlocked puzzle games allows you to try to build them at master difficulty level as well as earn your biggest token reward. At this level, the number of pieces moves to 100 and you will need to rotate the pieces to put the puzzle together.More Games Like Jigsaw Treasure Hunter
Here are some tips and tricks to becoming a true online puzzle adventurer who travels to amazing destinations around the world and beyond!
When you click on a picture puzzle to play it, you will be taken to puzzle mode. The pieces have been sorted into two sets.
If you want a piece from the drawer, just click and drag the handle. You can move pieces back and forth between the table and the drawer, especially if you find it helps to work out the puzzle in sections.
When you see two pieces you think belong together, click and drag one of the pieces so that the connecting edges line up. When you let go, if they are a match, they will snap together to become a single piece. Sometimes pieces may look like they can go together, but if they don't snap together they probably don't. Every time you make a match, you'll score one token.
As you are building your puzzle, also keep in mind that you can win tokens based on how quickly you finish the puzzle. The number of time bonus tokens you win is determined by the level of difficulty. The harder the difficulty, the more tokens you can win for the same length of time.
If you're playing on the elite or master difficulty levels, you may need to use the rotate button to move the piece into the correct orientation. If you are especially skilled, you can right-click to rotate a piece you have selected. Otherwise, click on the piece you want to rotate to select it (red-highlight), and then click to rotate the piece 90 degree clockwise. You may need to rotate the piece several times to arrive in the correct position.
If you click the hint button , it will find a matching piece for the last selected piece (the one with the red-highlight). You won't earn any points for using the hint button. You can only use the hint button five times per puzzle.
If you need a reference of what the puzzle looks like, click to see a small version of the final image. You can drag it around the screen if it is in your way. Dismiss the thumbnail by closing the preview window.
As an avid treasure hunting puzzle adventurer, you may hone many techniques. You may put together the outside pieces first or try and find pieces that are the same color. Stacking all your pieces into groups of similar colors may also be helpful. In order to move a larger group of pieces around the table or from the table to the puzzle drawer, use the magnet tool . When you click on this button, a circle will surround your cursor. When you click and drag, the magnet tool will allow you to move all the pieces within the circumference of the circle at one time. Click the group move tool button again to toggle it off.
If you need help distinguishing between pieces, use the piece finder . This tool highlights pieces that have not yet been placed. They will be highlighted in yellow so you can find them. Toggle it on and off by clicking the button.

Jigsaw Treasure Hunter • getting games to workBy Funnybrightnnice » May 14th, 2012, 12:51 amI use internet explorer to access pogo.com. I have found that when I can't get certain games to start, if I put my cursor on the start button and right click, I get a menu. Try that and on the menu, click on "Open in a new window" and that may help. |

Jigsaw Treasure Hunter • Negative Posts and Complaints about Pogo on the ForumsBy pogo_Maul » May 11th, 2012, 6:02 pmDue to the many current issues affecting members game play the Pogo Forums are receiving a lot of negative and unconstructive feedback. We are aware of the issues largely related to those unhappy with Embedded Game Pages (EGP), whether it be the design/lack of Pop-ups, or Games loading slowly, not able to continue after one game, or simply not loading at all. We are researching those issues and hope to have solutions in the coming weeks. |

Jigsaw Treasure Hunter • I still can't get into Jigsaw Treasure HunterBy carerun11 » May 6th, 2012, 9:55 pmWhenever I click on start game it never brings up the game. It just says "Now loading Jigsaw Treasure Hunter" and it stays that way until I get out of it all together. I've kept it on for about an hour at least just to see if it would eventually open up but it never does. This has been happening for months now and I have a paid subscription and I'm seriously considering cancelling the subscription. Can't anything be done by POGO to fix this? It never should have been changed to begin with. They shouldn't fix what wasn't broken. It was just fine. Everyone is always feeling the need to update all the time but I don't care if it ever gets updated as long as it works! I have tried some of the suggestions and none of them work for me. Please fix this game POGO so that everyone can use it! |
